Waking Night Residential Support Worker – Childrens Services


Locations: Offerton (Stockport, SK1) x2 roles
Chipping (Preston, PR3) x3 roles
Pay: £15 per hour (Waking Nights)
Contract: Temp-to-Perm Available
Hours: 3 on / 3 off rolling pattern (10pm–10am)

Affinity Care Recruitment is supporting our client, a well-established provider of children’s residential services, in recruiting five Waking Night Support Workers across multiple homes.

About the Role

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you’ll play a key part in creating a safe, nurturing, and stable environment for children and young people. You’ll remain awake throughout the night to ensure the wellbeing, safety, and routine of those in your care.

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

  • Previous experience working in children’s residential homes
  • A full driving licence with access to your own car
  • The ability to work a fixed night shift pattern
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries

Please note:


Applicants with only healthcare experience (adult or elderly care) cannot be considered for this sector.
